TOUR PACKAGES Miraculous Kerala 09 Nights / 10 Days DAY 01 : COCHIN Arrive Cochin by flight or train. On arrival, transfer to the City Hotel. Go for a short sight seeing tour of Cochin. Overnight at the resort. Known as the queen of the Arabian Sea is one of the most interesting cities of India and has one of the finest natural harbors in the world. St Francis Church, built in 1510 by friars brought to India by Vasco da Gama, is the first European church built in India and is the site where da Gama was buried. The Jewish Synagogue was built in 1568, Chinese hand-painted tiles are one of the attraction. This, the only Synagogue in India has a nostalgic past of a Jewish Diaspora. The "Dutch Palace" was built in the 1550s; the palace contains excellent mythological murals and a rare example of traditional Keralite flooring - a subtle mix of burnt coconut shells, lime, plant juices and egg whites - which gives the effect of polished marble. DAY 02 : COCHIN – MUNNAR Morning, after breakfast, proceed to Munnar, (4.5 Hrs) known as nature lover’s paradise. Enjoy the sight seeing places of Munnar. Overnight at the resort Munnar, the nature-lover’s paradise, snuggling in the
green and serene Kannan Devan Hills lies the quite and restful resort
of Munnar, at an altitude of 1524 m and 136 km off Cochin. Panoramic views
of low-flying clouds and mist filled valleys make it a pretty little heaven
with a cool bracing climate. Kumarakom is a beautiful & a pleasant village on the
Vembanad Lake. This small backwater world is an enchanting backwater destination.
It has unimaginable beautiful mangrove forests, coconut grooves, &
lush green paddy fields which are covered with shimmering watery ways
& canals. It is a diamond in India's ecological crown, despite being
one of the smallest parks in the country. Kumarakom is a small world of
backwater, thatched houseboats, cormorants, Chinese fishing nets &

Built in 1970, the memorial is dedicated to Swami Vivekananda, India's
greatest social reformer. This was the rock on which Vivekanand meditated
in his quest to know the truth and enlightenment. Today this memorial
has a meditation room, where you can sit in peace and reflect. The memorial
has a stature of Swami Vivekanand and it also houses the different styles
of temple architecture from across India. Catamaran Cruises on the country raft is hugely popular in
Kovalam. Many marine activities are possible at Kovalam. The local fishermen
provide sunrise and sun set cruises in fishing boats. Angling for deep-sea
fishing is highly catching up with tourists who come for vacation in Kovalam.

Kochi (Kochi) is palm-green commercial town of Kerala and the city consists of the mainland Ernakulam, Willingdon Island, Mattancherry, Fort Cochin, Vypeen Island and Bolghatty Island. Ernakulam is the modern city where shopping market, bazaar etc are located. Combined with the greenery, it infuses freshness into any tired soul. The Athirapally Falls join the Chalakkudy River after plummeting a drop of 80 feet. The newly beautified 400 Meters of the main beach has a walkway and High mask lamps which make the beach enjoyable even at night. Trained security staff are present round-the-clock in the beach. The Beach is very safe and tourists of all age groups can enjoy the Beach alike. The beautiful beach is studded with seashells of various hues and shapes. There is a park for children on the beach. Tucked into the Western Ghats, surrounded by tea and spice plantations, soaked in atmosphere, Munnar is heart-stopping beautiful. Hidden away in the midst of thick vegetation and lush rainforest, Munnar was the secret holiday getaway of only a few who were familiar with its many charms. A misty, lush green hill station 1600m ASL in the Annamalai range of Kerala, Munnar is fast making a transition from a tea, coffee and spice plantation centre to a prime holiday resort and wildlife reserve. Spread across 777 sq. km, of which 360 sq. km is thick evergreen forest, the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. Noted for its geo-morphological diversity of wildlife and scenic beauty, the Reserve attracts visitors from all over the world. The splendid artificial lake formed by the Mullaperiyar Dam across the Periyar River adds to the charm of the park. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing wildlife at close quarters from the safety of a boat on the lake.
